Workshops Acrylic paint & transparency

Did you know that you can also work very transparently with acrylic paint without adding water? Working with transparent colors gives you more depth in your work. Of course we give it a mixed media twist by sticking different materials into our surface. I have turned it into a kind of fantasy landscape, but I am free to put your own spin on it. During this workshop you will learn not only a fun acrylic painting technique, but also what you can use acrylic binder for. In addition to product knowledge, you will also learn the basics of mixing colors.

Materials

• 1 thick sheet of A4 paper (at least 200 grams or higher), this can also be watercolor paper or drawing paper. Tape the sheet all around with painter's tape on a plate of wood or glass. Of course you can also work on canvas.
• Flat brush no. 14 & round brush no. 6
• Basic colors of acrylic paint : (lemon) yellow, red/pink (magenta), blue/turquoise and black.
• Possibly a tube of 3D paint
• Acrylic binder or if you have it at home , matte medium is also good.
• Pieces of paper, such as: newspaper, music paper, book paper, tissue paper or other types of paper. Just turn the paper bin over!
• Natural material: dried large leaf, sand
