Watercolor & structure workshop

During this workshop we will work with watercolor. Currently a widely used and popular medium. You will receive an explanation about the use of watercolor and the basics of mixing colors. But of course we will also give it a mixed media twist! We will experiment with different surfaces and we will make a quick "image transfer". In addition to the clear step-by-step instructions, you also get to know the products better.

For this workshop I will teach you a technique to transfer a photo to your paper. Drawing skills are therefore not necessary.

Materials

• 1 sheet of copy paper
• Soft pencil 2B or softer
• 2 sheets of watercolor paper 200 grams or higher
• Watercolor round brushes small and large no. 8 & 12
• Watercolor set or with basic colors
• Black fineliner
• White gelly pen
• Pumice stone medium fine or alternatively e.g. bird sand with glue. Watch this video > Youtube video
• Gel medium or acrylic binder
• Small palette knife
